8 Months Old! 2/3 of the way to a year

I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with these two cuties and take care of them. Its definitely not easy but I wouldn't have it any other way. It  can get overwhelming when I think of all the things that I'm responsible to teach them. I am grateful for the gospel and especially for prayer to help guide Cameron and I as parents with these precious spirits that Heavenly Father has entrusted to us. I'm glad that I get to take it one day at a time right now. All I can do is my best and ask the Lord to help me with the rest.

Mom, not ANOTHER photoshoot!

Brother snuggles! I'm surprised he's not trying to lick her hair... that is almost a daily occurrence these days.

I said to Cameron "You can see my shadow in her eyes" and he just replied back "that should be a song lyric". HA!

The old man hair over his ears cracks me up.

I spy a little double chin...

Cute face! Just ignore the sopping wet shirt and pants. He's kind of a drool bug.

Modeling is exhausting!

7 Months Old

I realized the last post was supposed to include their 7 month photoshoot but I forgot to add them... Lets just blame it on my twin mommy brain. ;)

So here are some of their 7 month pictures:

I love how their little hands are on each others' knee. I didn't pose them or anything!

We're gonna be in big trouble later.... How are we going to say no to these big beautiful blue eyes??

Take a look at those cute baby toes scrunched together! :)

Love her smile!

Her cheeks! Her eyes! Whats not to love.

She's growing so fast.

Handsome boy!

His dimples get me every time.

HA! Showing off his favorite 'word' nana.

Hiking the Hidden Mesa Trail

One thing we really love about Colorado is how outdoorsy it is! There are always things to do in any kind of weather and having kids has only slowed us down a little bit. ;)

There is a nice little trail called the Hidden Mesa Trail within walking distance from our house. We've hiked part of it a couple years ago but we wanted to try to do the whole loop. On Valentines day we thought it would be the perfect day to hike and we decided on the Hidden Mesa Trail loop. It was a gorgeous day for February and there were a lot of people out.

Sleepy girl!

The twin-go is great for nursing on the go too!

Happy Noah boy

I spy with my little eye... one happy little boy.

The top of the Hidden Mesa Trail. Mollie loves to hike too!

6 months and snowshoeing

I mentioned the Twin-go carrier in an earlier post and how awesome it is. Seriously, this thing is my #1 recommendation to any new twin mom. Such a life {and sanity} saver! Not only can I successfully grocery shop with it (ok, lets be honest - its great at Target too), we've gone on hikes and even snow shoed wearing the twins!

Our snowshoeing adventure was a lot of fun! You cant really tell where Noah is in the picture because he's so bundled up but he's right there on the front of me under the orange hood. We ended up going on two hikes - one by ourselves and one 'guided ranger tour'. I think I liked the ranger tour the best because we actually were snowshoeing between the trees in the forrest as opposed to a designated trail.

And there is little Elleanna's head poking out the top of the carrier that Cameron is wearing. They surprisingly did really well while we were hiking. The second hike was about 2.5 hours long and they slept most of the time.

There is a lot more planning and effort involved when trying to do fun things with little babies but it is always worth to us. I can always usually put up with a little bit of hassle for great family memories.

On to their 6 month photo shoot! As they've gotten older their monthly photoshoots have been getting easier and more fun. I love trying to capture their little personalities.

One of my favorites!

Getting so big!

Check out that grin! Can he get any cuter?!

Sometimes taking pictures can get exhausting when you're 6 months old. :)

5 Months - Twins' first Christmas

Christmas was so wonderful this year. Even though the babies had no clue what was going on, it just brought a special spirit to the Holidays to have them to celebrate with. Plus, we had to open their presents for them so it felt like we opened twice as many presents! ;) In all seriousness, we really felt the Christmas Spirit this year with these two precious babies in our home. We can't wait to see what the years to come will bring.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.
Waiting on the stairs for Mom and Dad to check if Santa came.
Still waiting....
HE CAME!!!!!

Noah and his stocking.

Elleanna and her stocking.
The babies and the Christmas tree.
The whole fam damily! ;) Even the dog and the cat.

Such a sweet girl!

Thank you Great Aunt Irene and family for the perfect gifts!

Opening gifts! The paper was really exciting too. :)

I LOVE THIS THING! It seriously SAVES THE DAY all the time at the grocery store. Its called a Twin-go for anyone curious. You can wear both babies or split the carrier into two so Mom can carry one and Dad can carry one. We take it hiking too (even snowshoeing).
