I have promised Cameron that I will start blogging again. It seems like a good way to keep everyone in the loop and also to journal the events of our family.
So here we go...
I cannot believe we have only (max) 14 weeks left until we meet these little babes! It seems like just a few weeks ago that we found out about being pregnant and that they were twins! I already feel huge - this belly is a weapon. I think it was only 3 weeks ago where I could feel them kicking me around my belly button and now they are kicking me in the ribs! The human body is an amazing thing.

We've been preparing as much as we can at this point. We've painted the nursery, have all the nursery furniture set up, {i've} bought some cute clothes (not nearly enough yet!), toured two hospitals and made baby name lists. I think we're still far from being "ready" but it feels good to check some things off the list. I can't wait to do the final touches on the nursery and to organize the closet. I think the nesting is really starting to kick in.

We also went on an impromptu 'Baby Moon' to the Great Sand Dunes National Park this last weekend. It was fun to waddle through the sand (actually, not so much). I slowly made it up two little hills and my body was done. So Cameron had fun rolling down the hill and getting sand in every nook and cranny. I think he's still finding sand from that fun adventure!
